Chuncheon Gangchon Rail Park
The old Gyeongchun Line was the route where the Mugunghwa train ran with a bumpy, romantic feel. Rail bikes now run along the train tracks. Gangchon Rail Park has two lines and three departure stations using some sections of the old Gyeongchun Line. Based on the departure station, it is divided into Kim Yu-jeong Rail Bike, Gapyeong Rail Bike, and Gyeonggang Rail Bike. The Kim Yu-jeong Rail Bike is a 8.5 km course in total. You ride the rail bike to Nangu Village at 6 km, then transfer to the romantic train and go to the old Gangchon Station.
Across from Kim Yu-jeong Station, the Kim Yu-jeong Literature Village has been created. There is the birthplace of writer Kim Yu-jeong, who was active in the 1930s, an exhibition hall, and an experience space. The old Baekyang-ri Station still retains its appearance as a simple station on the Gyeongchun Line. The train timetable and fare table hanging in the waiting room, as well as the station master's uniform and hat, bring back memories of the analog era.
The Chuncheon Samaksan Lake Cable Car, which connects Samcheon-dong and the ridge of Samaksan Mountain, is the longest cable car in Korea with a running length of 3.61km. From the observatory at the upper station, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Uiam Lake, Carp Island, and downtown Chuncheon.

Imsil Saseondae National Tourist Site
'Imsil' cannot be missed on a trip to Sangchun under a clear sky without a single cloud. Imsil, with its mountains and plenty of water, is truly the harbinger of spring. The fresh green of the mountains surrounding it in all directions, the forsythia of the Seomjingang River and the water fog of Okjeong Lake color my heart, which had been gray all winter, with bright excitement. Among them, Saseondae, where Seongmisan Mountain, 430 meters above sea level, and Owoncheon Stream, the upper stream of the Seomjingang River, harmonize like a picture, is the perfect place to enjoy the atmosphere of a spring day.
Saseondae, located in Gwanchon-ri, Gwanchon-myeon, is a long-standing resting place for Imsil residents and a representative scenic spot in Imsil that attracts visitors from all over the country. Sasundae (四仙臺) means ‘a place where four immortals played.’ It is said that about 2,000 years ago, two immortals from Unsusan Mountain in Imsil and two immortals from Maisan in Jinan stayed leisurely, intoxicated by the clean and beautiful scenery of the Gwanchon area. .
Unseojeong (雲棲亭), visible on the hill above Saseondae, is a place where patriotic governors gathered during the Japanese colonial period to soothe their sorrow over the loss of their country, and the Deokcheon-ri Gachimbakdal colony around Unseojeong is a rare wild tree that is not easily found in the central and southern regions. This is where it grows.
Imsil Cheese Theme Park, where you can experience Imsil, the birthplace of Korean cheese, shows the essence of Imsil Cheese with over 60 years of history, and the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province 119 Safety Experience Center provides information on how to respond to various natural disasters and safety accidents at an age-appropriate level. It's interesting information.
